GT Bank Takes Over Late Arisekola's Property! -Family In Disarray, Heads To Court

This is not the best of time for the family of Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland AbdulAzeez Arisekola Alao who died on June 18, at the age of 69. Arisekola-Alao, 69, the Deputy President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), died in an hospital in the United Kingdom, after a lost battle with prostrate cancer. However, barely few weeks after the burial of the acclaimed wealthy Ibadan based businessman, indications are pointing to the fact that he was hugely indebted to GT Bank.

Findings revealed that GTBank, who cushioned the various business ventures of the tribal marked muslim leader, has put plans in motion to demand for the loan he took during his lifetime. The bank has decided to use the property left behind to substitute the loan given to the respected Islamic leader.

it was learnt that the late Ibadan money bag had mandated the executioner of his Will to convert his massive mansion to a school to immortalized him. this wish of the dead may turn out to be a mirage after all. This is because GTBank has vowed to put the house up for sale should the family fail to pay up the debt.

Meanwhile, the family has approached the court to save the family name from the imminent embarrassment that is threatening to wriggle around its neck.
